Black Stars forward Frank Opoku Acheampong is confident Ghana can secure a fourth consecutive world cup qualification despite being handed a tricky group.
The Black Stars have been paired against seven times African Champions Egypt, Congo and Uganda but have recently been disrupted with a hot relationship between their caretakers (GFA) and the Sports Ministry.
Frank Acheampong is however overlooking the hard times being encountered by the GFA with regards to a smooth coporation from the sports ministry and is rather counting on the pedigree of the players to make it to Russia 2018.
“With the Caliber of players in the team, we can qualify to the World Cup if we work harder.” He told Starr Fm’s Dennis Mepuri.
The 22 year old Anderlecht winger played a part in Ghana’s Afcon 2017 qualification and is already looking up to a world cup berth with the qualification series set to begin in October this year.
