Captain for the Black Stars of Ghana, Andre Dede Ayew has shared that he hopes the team’s good start in the qualifiers to the 2020 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament will be the start of something good.

The West African side has managed to win all two of their matches in Group C of the qualifiers to the next AFCON with wins over South Africa as well as Sao Tome and Principe.

Speaking to the media after the last match on Monday, Andre Ayew congratulated the entire team and shared that camp has been brilliant.

"I am very happy and I want to congratulate all the players for the win. Camp has been brilliant and discipline has been perfect”, the Swansea City attacker said.

He further added that he is delighted the Black Stars have managed to bag all 3 points while observing that he hopes it continues.

“We have six points and no team in our group did that in this international week so that proves that we did something good. This is just the beginning and we have six points now and we have to continue like this and I am happy and hope we continue like this”, Andre noted.
