Cash-strapped Berekum Chelsea put club up for sale

Ghana Premier League side Berekum Chelsea is up for sale, according to local media reports.

Reports emerged on Monday that the Berekum based side have invited buyers for the club due to mounting financial challenges.

The club since the departure of their financier Emmanuel Kyeremah some years ago have been struggling and this has propelled the current officials to trade the club.

Current owner Nana Kwame Nketiah is reported to have told close associates that the club is up for sale.

Chelsea becomes the second Ghanaian Premier League side to have been put up for sale after Medeama owner Moses Armah declared his intention on Monday.
