Algerian forward, Aymen Mahious has won the golden boot award at the end of the 2022 CAF Championship of African Nations (CHAN) tournament.
The USM Alger attacker was arguably the best forward at this year’s CHAN tournament hosted in his country, Algeria.
Throughout the tournament, he scored in all but just one match from the group stage to the final.
In the end, his five goals in six matches saw him become the top scorer in the 2022 CHAN tournament.
Deservedly, he has been awarded the Gold Boot award.

The 2022 CHAN tournament came to a close on Saturday, February 4.
The final was played between Algeria and Senegal. The game ended goalless in regulation time and had to be decided on penalties.
Senegal came out tops to lift the CHAN 2022 trophy.
