The Black Galaxies of Ghana will be in action at the CHAN 2023 tournament for the first time today, Sunday, January 15.
This year’s Championship of African Nations commenced two days ago on Friday, January 13 when host nation Algeria defeated Libya 1-0 in Group A at the Nelson Mandela Stadium in Algiers.
Today, it will be the turn of the Black Galaxies to get a taste of the action when Ghana takes on Madagascar later in the evening.
In what will be a Group C encounter, the Black Galaxies are keen on recording a win to stand a good chance of advancing to the knockout stage of the CHAN 2023 tournament.
Before today’s game, the Black Galaxies had very good pre-tournament training camps.
Coach Annor Walker played a number of friendlies with his team and is confident that they will make Ghanaians proud at the CHAN 2023 tournament.
Today’s contest between Madagascar and Ghana will kick off at 7pm.
