CHAN qualifiers: CAF appoints Mali referee Boubou Traore to take charge of second leg of tie between Nigeria and Ghana

Mali referee Boubou Traore will officiate the second leg of the tie between Nigeria and Ghana in the final round of the CHAN qualifiers.

The appointed has been made by CAF and announced by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) through an official statement on Monday evening.

”Boubou Traore from Mali will be the center referee for the 2nd leg of the CHAN qualifier between Nigeria in Abuja.

”The 36-year-old will be assisted by Modibo Samake (Assistant I) Nouhouk Bamba (Assistant II) and Mahamoudou Keita (fourth official),” parts of the statement in the website of the Ghana FA has said.

The match will take place at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at 17:00GMT.

Prior to that game though, the Black Galaxies of Ghana will host the first leg at the Cape Coast Stadium on August 28, 2022.
