Ghana’s Minister for Youth and Sports, Hon. Isaac Kwame Asiamah has urged the Black Stars B to go all out and beat their counterpart from Burkina Faso when they host them at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium this Sunday.

The two nations have been billed for a two-legged encounter this month as they seek for qualification to the next edition of the African Championship.

With the first leg coming up this weekend, the Sports Minister has penned a motivational message to the Stars encouraging them to get a convincing victory at home to ensure the return leg becomes a mere formality.

"I am encouraging you our ambassadors to go all out and ‘ demolish ‘ your opponents and make the 2nd leg a mere formality.

“I wish you well and assure you of the nation’s support God be with you.

“Black Stars, we shall win for you. God bless our homeland, Ghana”, Hon. Isaac Asiamah said in a post.

He further called on the entire citizenry to troop to the Baba Yara Stadium this Sunday to cheer on the Black Stars B to victory over the Burkina Faso side.

“Once again, I am appealing and calling on the good people of our beloved country to be at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday 22nd September, 2019 to support our home-based Black Stars as they play their Burkinabe counterparts in the first leg qualifier of African Nations Championships (CHAN)”, a portion of the post read.
