Charles-Jesaja Herrmann joins German club SV Waldhof Mannheim

SV Waldhof Mannheim has announced the signing of German-born Ghanaian striker Charles-Jesaja Herrmann from Belgian first-division club KV Kortrijk.

Last season, Charles-Jesaja Hermann was loaned from KV Kortrijk to Dutch second-division team NAC Breda, where he made 29 appearances and scored three goals.

Charles-Jesaja Hermann previously played for Kortrjk in 13 top-flight games. The attacker grew up with VfL Wolfsburg. Herrmann scored 42 goals and set up 14 more for the Wolves in 68 games in the A and B Junior Bundesliga. In addition, Charles-Jesaja Hermann appeared 20 times for the regional league's second team.

"I'm taking on this task here at SV Waldhof with great anticipation. Here I want to prove my qualities again and help the team to be successful," says Herrmann.

"Now it's important for me to quickly find a connection to the team.

Hermann could possibly celebrate his debut this Wednesday evening in the state cup against state league club FV Lauda.
