Charles Taylor, a former Ghana Premier League attacker for both Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko, announced his all-time combined XI lineup, which includes players who retired following successful stints with both clubs.

Ishmael Addo, widely regarded as one of the finest strikers to have played in the league, was strangely absent from the lineup, having set a record for the most goals scored in a single season in 2001.

Players that had the chance to play for both teams over their careers made up Taylor's squad, and he chose Michael Osei, a former Kotoko player, and Emmanuel Osei Kuffuor, a former Hearts of Oak teammate, ahead of Addo. The goalkeeper for his team was Sammy Adjei, while the back four were Dan Quaye, Jacob Nartey, Issah Ahmed, and Agyemang Duah. The lineup also included Taylor, Don Bortey, Stephen Oduro, and Joe Ansah.

In the interview with Onua FM, Taylor also stated that he would want Yaw Preko to coach his squad.

Charles Taylor was a member of the famous "64 Battalion" squad of Accra Hearts of Oak S.C. that won the African Champions League in 2000 and consecutive Ghanaian league titles.
