Published on: 10 December 2018

Ghana premier league legend, Charles Taylor tells Kotoko SC players to step up their training ahead of Africa Inter-club competition.

Ghana's only Africa representative, Kotoko over the weekend defeated the Black Meteors 3-0 in a friendly at the Accra Sports Stadium.

However, ex-Kotoko and Hearts of Oak midfielder Charles Taylor believes for the porcupine warriors to perform well in the 2019 CAF Confederation cup must up their preparation and not overly excited beating national U-23 team.

"What needs to be told, is Asante Kotoko SC should not be over exuberant after this win because its a different game in contention when it comes to Africa".

"So Kotoko SC players have to back up their training here in Ghana when is due to play Kariobangi Sharks they find their form", he said.

Kotoko SC on December 15 will face Kenyan side Kariobangi Sharks in Kenya and follow up a return leg in Kumasi on the 23rd December.
