Ghana will be active in next month FIFA international break after penciling down two friendlies as part of preparations for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The Black Stars is returning to the global showpiece after missing out in Russia 2018.

The West African powerhouse has scheduled two friendlies in September against Brazil and Nicaragua.

Ghana is expected to play powerhouse Brazil on September 23 before Nicaragua on September 27 in Spain.

Ahead of the games, Ghana coach Otto Addo might miss the services of some key players due to injuries if they are unable to recover in time.

Below are the Black Stars players currently injured:  

Christopher Antwi-Adjei: The Bochum winger has been out of action for three weeks due to a muscular injury.

Despite returning to training on Tuesday, Antwi-Adjei could miss the Brazil clash.

Thomas Partey: The Arsenal star has suffered a latest injury at the club and was not in action against Fulham last Saturday in their 2-1 win.

It is said the Black Stars deputy captain could miss a couple of games and is set to miss five matches.

He is likely to miss Arsenal’s clash against Aston Villa, Manchester United, Everton, FC Zurich and PSV.

Inaki Williams: The new Black Stars forward picked up an injury during Athletic Bilbao’s 4-0 win over Cadiz.

His debut for Ghana could delay if he is unable to recover in time.
