Chelsea goalkeeperThibaut Courtois has revealed he believes David de Gea's reflexes are superior to his own.

Manchester United stopper De Gea is thought by many to be the best goalie in the Premier League, frequently earning his side points behind a shaky defence in recent years. Courtois has also had his moments, earning admiration for his imposing physique and shot-stopping abilities, but has arguably not lived up to the hype following his return from Atletico Madrid.

Speaking to Belgian TV show La Tribune, as quoted by theMetro, Courtois took part in a quiz and was asked to give an attribute to a fellow goalkeeperwhich he thought that keeper was better than him at.

On De Gea, Courtois answered: "He has very good reflexes. On his line, he is one of the best. But I am also."

Regarding Liverpool's Simon Mignolet, Courtois responded: "One on one."

Speaking about former Chelsea man Petr Cech, Courtois revealed the former Czech Republic international was a big help during the early stages of his Blues career.

"I have a lot of respect for him. He's the best guy I've met in football at all levels," Courtois stated.

"Upon my arrival in Chelsea, he always helped and advised."

Courtois has featured in all 11 of Chelsea's Premier League games this season, and has kept five consecutive clean sheets since the club's 3-0 defeat at Arsenal. The keeper has conceded just nine goals in the league so far this season, with Chelsea's defensive record bettered only by Tottenham Hotspur in the top flight.
