Chelsea boss Antonio Conte wants Ghana defender Baba Abdul Rahman to join another club on loan in the January transfer window.

German budesliga side Schalke are reportedly keen on signing the player who is still recuperating after a horrific injury on a permanent basis after the player fell out at Chelsea.

The 23 year old lost his Chelsea first team place following the arrival of Antonio Conte who took over from Jose Mourinho.

Rahman was sent out on loan to Schalke where he had a decent spell before suffering a setback during international duties with the Black Stars team.

Meanwhile, with the  January transfer window still in session, there has been speculation over the 23-year-old’s future with the English Club.

However Chelsea manager Antonio Conte wants to see the player go for another loan spell at the Bundesliga Club rather than an outright transfer as preferred by the royal blues (Schalke).
