Chelsea midfielder Eden Hazard admits he's been urged to be more selfish in possession.
Chelsea team-mate Cesc Fabregas has claimed Hazard could become as good as Lionel Messi if he becomes more selfish in attack.
The 26-year-old has scored 107 goals in his professional career for Lille and Chelsea, whereas Messi netted his 500th for Barcelona earlier this week.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Hazard said: "Fabregas is not the only one to say that to me. A lot of people say to me you need to be more selfish, but when I am on the pitch sometimes I prefer to pass the ball.
"I try game after game to be more selfish. I know it's good for me to score more goals if I want to reach the level of Messi and [Cristiano] Ronaldo. I am working on it."
