Chelsea Striker Diego Costa Warned to Show More Respect to Manager Antonio Conte

Chelsea and Spain striker Diego Costa has been warned to show more respect to manager Antonio Conte afterthe burly striker'challenged' the Italian to take him off in their 3-0 win over Leicester City.


Costa looked to request to be substituted, but actually the Brazilian born striker challenged Conte to take him off as the Italian criticised his performance from the touchline and according toESPNhe has been warned to show morerespect to his manager.

Costa previously had a rift with ex-Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho after the Portuguese decided not to bring him on, fromthe bench, withCosta reactingby throwing his bib at Mourinho. The petulant forwarddoesn't find it hard to create trouble anddoesn't have to travel far to find a player/coach who he hasn't had some sort oftension with.


Costa has scored ten goals in 12 games for club and country so far this season, the Spaniard has also picked up five yellow cards and needs onlyone more for his club to get a suspension. The striker has scored 39 league goals for Chelseathroughout his time in England and is on course to beat last season's total of ten league goals.
