Chelsea's Gary Cahill Blames 'Frustration' for Sergio Aguero's 'Crazy' Horror Tackle

Chelsea defender Gary Cahill has criticised Sergio Aguero for the dangerous tackle on his teammateDavid Luiz, during the top of the table clash between Manchester City and the Blues.


The City striker was shown a straight red card for a dreadful challenge, that left Luiz in a heap towards the end of a feisty encounter.


The ensuing melee that was a consequence ofthe foulsaw more punishment dished out by referee Anthony Taylor,as Fernandinho was also dismissed for the hosts after pushing Cesc Fabregas by the neckover the advertising boards.

Although Pep Guardiola has apologised for his player's behaviour following the match, the ramifications of the incident are still to be decided as the FA ponder imposing bigger punishments on both teams for their roles in the fracas.


But whilethe wait goes on for the FA's verdict, Gary Cahill has hit out at Sergio Aguero for the foul on Luiz and though he understood the losing side'sfrustrations, headmitted it was disappointing to see the Argentinian commit such a horrendous foul.


The centre back told theSun:It was a crazy tackle. Maybe it was a bit of frustration. It was out of character for him but it's disappointing to see that.

They'd had a battle, him and David and sometimes a bit of frustration spills over.�


City had seen their 1-0 lead overturned in the second half and with the full time whistle looming, emotions appeared to get the better of the home team, as they saw two players shown straight red cards.


The 3-1 win for Chelsea means they now go three points clear at the top of the Premier League table, whilst defeat for City saw them drop down to fourth andleaves themsix points behind the leaders.
