Former Brighton & Hove Albion manager, Christ Hughton has made the final shortlist of coaches selected by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for the vacant Black Stars job.
The experienced tactician as confirmed by your most trusted online portal in Ghana applied for the job earlier this month.
Following considerations and consultations, the Ghana FA has included Coach Chris Hughton in its list of potential coaches for the national team.
Besides Chris Hughton, Argentina tactician Hector Cupper and Englishman Steve McClaren have also been selected by the Ghana FA for consideration.
The football association is working around the clock to settle on one out of the top five managers for the Black Stars job by the close of this month.
There is the need to make the appointment as early as possible to ensure the new head coach gets ample time to put together a Black Stars squad strong enough for the upcoming games in the AFCON 2023 qualifiers in March.
