Chris Hughton to make changes to Ghana squad for AFCON qualifier against Madagascar in June

Ghana head coach, Chris Hughton will make changes to his squad for the game against Madagascar in June.

The Black Stars will face off with their counterpart from Madagascar next month in the qualifiers for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

Although the majority of the players that made the squad for the Angola games in March are available, some have sustained injuries while others are also not in the best of forms.

As a result, Coach Chris Hughton will have no choice but to make changes to his squad for the Madagascar game.

Notable among the players set to miss the Ghana v Madagascar game include striker Antoine Semenyo, defenders Mohammed Salisu and Tariq Lamptey.

Ghana will hope to beat Madagascar in the upcoming AFCON qualifier to get closer to finishing Group as the group winner.

A win will also likely seal the qualification for the Black Stars to the next AFCON scheduled to be staged in Ivory Coast.
