Ghanaian winger Christopher Antwi Adjei played full 90 minutes as his side managed to get a 1-1 draw against RB Leipzig.
The 26 year old has been a key part of Paderborn's play despite their extended battles with relegation this season. They clinched a point at the Red Bull Arena.
Leipzig went into the lead in the 27th minute through Patrick Schik. The hosts were in total control of the game until Dayot Upamecano was sent off in the 43rd minute.
The visitors grew in confidence and in the end managed to score in the dying embers of the game. Christian Strohdiek found the net for Paderborn.
Paderborn have been officially relegated with four game weeks left to play.
