Ghana head coach, CK Akonnor has stressed that he picked up a lot of lessons from the defeat to Mali last Friday.
The coach was in the dugout on Friday evening when the Black Stars locked horns with the Eagles at the Emir Hotel Sports Complex in Antalya, Turkey.
In what was his first match as head coach for the Ghana national team, Coach CK Akonnor saw his team suffer a 3-0 defeat.
Speaking in an interview, the coach has listed the lessons he learnt from the Mali defeat.
“I think a lot of lessons have been learnt, through this game, I got to know about my players, the new, the old, our attitude we put up on the field of play. The way we comported ourselves on the field of play and everything, so I have learnt a lot”, Coach Akonnor said as quoted on the GFA website.
The former Hearts of Oak coach added, “Based on these facts, I have had a couple of meetings. Some individual meetings with each and everyone in the team and I hope that in the coming match our attitude will change”.
Later this afternoon, Coach Akonnor will be in the dugout when Ghana takes on Qatar.
