Claude Re Loy hails Kwasi Appiah's appointment as Ghana coach

Former Ghana coach Claude Le Roy has lauded the appointment of Kwesi Appiah as coach of the Black Stars.

 Appiah is making a return to the team after guiding them to the semi-finals of 2013 Africa Cup of Nations and, becoming the first Ghanaian coach to qualify the team to the 2014 Fifa World Cup staged in Brazil.

Coach Le Roy who worked with Appiah during his time as Ghana coach believes he is the best person for the job.

"Appiah is honest and a very good gentleman, i know very well that he will be successful," he said

"He can build a strong team that can challenge for titles, i have no doubt that he will make it".

Appiah will officially begin work today on May 1.
