Clement overjoyed with Swansea\'s Premier League finish

Swansea City manager Paul Clement is ecstatic with his side's final league position in the Premier League table.

Clement has managed to completely turn Swansea City's fortunes around since his arrival to the Liberty Stadium back in January and following a recent run of four wins in five matches, the Swans finished in an impressive 15th position in the table.

Considering that Swansea had been in the relegation zone for majority of the season before Clement arrived, the final league table makes for very good reading for the Welsh outfit and Clement has expressed his joy at his side earning such a lofty finish in the standings.

The 45-year-old said: "To finish the season in 15th place given the situation we were in when I came in is very, very pleasing. We were bottom of the table with 12 points when I arrived, so to end up with 41 points is a great achievement.

"We wanted to finish the season strongly. We had four good days' training coming into this game and we were very focused on trying to get three points.

"We didn't want to concede. Unfortunately we were not able to keep our amazing record of not conceding at set-plays going, although we did lose that record against the best team in the Premier League in terms of scoring from set-plays.

"But there are so many positives. We have finished the season with four wins from five plus a draw at Manchester United. 13 points from 15 at this level is a really good tally.
