Club Brugge shocked by Nana Ampomah lack of professionalism after absenting himself from training

Belgium club, Waasland-Beveren has expressed shock in the show of unprofessionalism from Ghanaian International Nana Opoku Agyemang after absenting himself from the club’s pre-season training.

The player is reported to have failed to show up for the team's pre-season training last week as they commenced preparations towards the 2019/2020 season.

Checks have revealed that the move by the player is to force a transfer out of Waasland-Beveren to top flight side, Club Brugge.

In a recent statement from Waasland-Beveren, the club has distanced themselves from the player's behavior whiles citing that they regret the behavior of the player.

“Club Brugge is in for nothing. Not the style of Club, nor that of Philippe Clement. Both the coach and CEO Vincent Mannaert immediately informed Waasland-Beveren that they knew nothing about Ampomah's absence and his lack of professionalism regret ", the club told Het Laatste Nieuws.

The 23-year old finished last season as one of the best players in the Belgium Jupitar Lig after bagging 8 goals in 30 appearances. His dazzling displays for his side through the season has linked him with a move to Fortuna Dusseldorf, as well as some other top clubs in Europe.
