Ghana Premier League side Kumasi Asante Kotoko has posted an emphatic 6-0 win over Lower Division side Tamale City FC today in a friendly game.
The match forms part of the preparations of the Porcupine Warriors who are gearing up for their encounter with Legon Cities FC on Match Week 2 of the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season.
To ensure players stay sharp for the crucial match, coach Maxwell Konadu and his Red army hosted Tamale City FC at the Adako Jachie training grounds on New year’s Day.
At the end of a very good exercise, Kotoko emerged as 6-0 winners with attacker Richard Arthur scoring a hat-trick. The 3 other goals were scored by Martin Antwi, Kelvin Andoh, and Kingsley Osei.
The team will wrap up training in Kumasi in the next 24 hours before making the trip to Accra for the League game against Legon Cities FC.
That match will be played on January 3, 2020, at the Accra Sports Stadium. Kick-off is at 18:00GMT.
