Head coach for Liberty Professionals, David Ocloo has stressed that he won’t blame his players for their draw against Asante Kotoko over the weekend even though they were wasteful in front of goal.

The Dansoman-based side was in Kumasi on Sunday afternoon where they played as a guest to the Porcupine Warriors in a Match Week 7 fixture of the ongoing 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season.

While Liberty emerged as the better side, their inability to convert clear cut goal scoring opportunities denied them a deserved win. At the end of the 90 minutes, it all ended 1-1 with both teams sharing the spoils.

Speaking to the media after the match, Liberty Professionals coach David Ocloo expressed disappointment to the result but indicated that he won’t blame his players.

“It is not the result I was expecting because I came here to beat Kotoko and its unfortunate we have to draw. I am a bit disappointed but I think in all this is what God gave us so we have to take it and I thank God for this”, the coach said.

He added, “No I will not blame them [Liberty players]. It is unfortunate that we had to miss those two chances”.
