Ghana coach Didi Dramani has left his position as head coach of Ghana's senior female national team.

According to reports, the former Asante Kotoko trainer has received an offer from Danish side Nordjaelland to become their assistant coach.

His exit as Black Queens coach comes as a major blow to the team ahead of the African Women's Championship which will be staged in Ghana.

Assistant coach Mercy Tagoe will temporarily take charge of the side until a substantive Coach is appointed.

The Black Queens will assemble for camping ahead of next month’s WAFU Women’s Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.

Ghana has been drawn against hosts Ivory Coast, Niger and Burkina Faso.
