Former Ghana U-17 head coach, Frimpong Manso says he is expecting an improved performance from the Black Stars today when they take on their counterpart from Qatar.

The friendly will be the second the Ghana male senior national team has played in the space of 4 days in this international break.

Set to follow the team’s 3-0 defeat to Mali last Friday, Frimpong Manso insists that he expects the Ghana players to put in more effort in the Qatar clash.

“So I expect the boys to also double up and then try to play according to the way the coach wants them to play”, the former Kotoko player told Class FM in an interview.

Coach Frimpong Manso continued, “I will be looking at specific positions. If they are able to do well then I will know where we will be headed.

The friendly between Ghana and Qatar will be played at the Titanic Sports Stadium in Turkey and will kick-off at 15:30GMT.
