Birmingham Legion assistant coach Khano Smith has heaped praise on Ghanaian forward Prosper Kasim after he scored in his side's 1-0 win over Atlanta United 2 in the 2020 USL Championship on Saturday night.

The 23-year-old's goal in the 45th minute helped BHM seal all three points at BBVA Field.

Kasim, back in the starting lineup for the first time since July 19 at Charleston, scored the pivotal goal for the home side in the first minute of first-half stoppage time after he was assisted by Eli Crognale.

"Prosper is one of our more creative players and that’s something important that he brings, "coach Smith said after the game.

"He found a really good spot on his goal attacking through the middle third of the field. Eli [Crognale] found him in a really good spot, and he drove and took his space like he should. Prosper likes to shoot and luckily he has a good shot and it found the back of the net."

The Ghanaian youngster has made four appearances for Birmingham Legion in the USL Championship this season, scored one goal, and registered one assist.
