Head coach for Medeama Sporting Club (SC), Samuel Boadu was left disappointed in officiating during his side’s 1-0 defeat to Aduana Stars in the Ghana Premier League over the weekend.

The two clubs went into the Match Week 7 fixture of the ongoing 2019/2020 season in high spirit to try and bag the available 3 points to improve their respective positions on the standings.

At the end of the 90 minutes, a second-half equalizer from Yahaya Mohammed handed Aduana Stars an important one-nil win at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park.

In a post-match interview, coach for the Yellow and Mauves Samuel Boadu bemoaned the incidence that was awarded as a free-kick by referee Charles Bulu that led to the only goal of the match.

Boadu opined: “I will say there is nothing wrong with my team. They played well with our tactical approach but there is the moment where I normally don’t talk about officiating but this is uncalled for. The incident that happened, being a coach I don’t understand and I don’t know why he took that decision”.

He added, “We played well and Aduana also did well. The chance that they got they took it so we lost the game and what I will say is that we are going back home and correct the mistakes that we did”.
