Coach Steve Pollack insists Kotoko is ready for Nea Salamina

Head Coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Steve Pollack says the team is ready to face lower tier side Nea Salamina in the FA Cup quarter final on Wednesday.

The Porcupine Warriors will host the leaders of Zone One in the GN Bank division One league in the outstanding MTN FA Cup.

The game which was postpone because of the unfortunate accident suffered by Kotoko last month will be played on Wednesday afternoon and Coach of Kotoko Steve Pollack says he wants his side to score more goals, indicating he wants the club to play like Manchester United.

“I watched their 4-0 victory over West Ham and I was so impressed and that is how I want to build my team and teams facing Kotoko must prepare well,” he said in a pre-match interview.

“We are ready for the FA Cup match against Nea Salamina on Wednesday. Every team playing Kotoko take it as final,” he added.

“I have spoken to my players who went on national duty and they are ready for the Wednesday encounter.”

Nea Salamina are the only lower tier side in the competition and are aslo set to shock the former Champions.

Hearts of Oak, Medeama and Wa All stars are all through to the semifinals and are awaiting the winner of Wednesday’s game to complete the list.
