Ashanti Gold assistant Coach Yakubu Mambo says he is not afraid to leave the club.

Reports in the local media suggest, management of the club has handed the technical team led by coach Bashir Hayford a three-match ultimatum.

The Miners have endured a torrid start to the season as they have picked just 7 points and lie 15th on the league log.

Many have suggested they get rid of Bashir Hayford and his team following their poor form.

“Management have given us three matches to move out of the drop zone. They will do their best for the team as we also look to improve to achieve the set ultimatum," coach Yakubu Mambo told Silver FM

"If we fail to to win any of the next three matches, I will be forced to end my role as the assistant coach through resignation."
