Premier League side Techiman City have terminated the contract of head coach Yusif Abubakar after both parties reached an agreement.

His departure from the club was imminent after leaving his post during the break for fear of losing his life.

Abubakar was attacked by home fans following their 1-1 draw with Ashantigold on matchday 14.

The former Hearts coach and the team reached an agreement to part ways this afternoon after a meeting.

Techiman City will travel to Obuasi on Wednesday to face AshantiGold SC in the Ghana Premier League.
