Coach Yusif Basigi elated with fitness of Black Princesses players ahead of Guinea Bissau game

Head coach of the Ghana U-20 women's team, Coach Yusif Basigi has expressed his delight to the condition of his players ahead of their clash against Guinea Bissau.

Nicknamed the Black Princesses, the team is set to face off with its counterpart from Guinea Bissau in the qualifiers to the 2021 FIFA Women's U-20 World Cup tournament.

Having stayed in camp for the past 5 weeks, coach Yusif Basigi says his players are in good shape.

"I think the players are well-conditioned, my players and the Maidens have played a number of friendly games. They are well-conditioned and appear very hungry no matter the crunch tackles and physicality in the games, they were on their feet.

"I am so much impressed with their conditioning and tactical play", the coach said in an interview with the communications team of the Ghana FA.

The date of the World Cup qualifier between Ghana and Guinea Bissau is yet to be decided.
