Coach Yussif Abubakar satisfied with Aduana squad ahead of next season's campaign

Head Coach of Premier League Champions Aduana Stars, Yussif Abuabakar has expressed satisfaction in the additions to his squad ahead of the upcoming season. 

The former Accra Hearts of Oak Coach, who led Aduana to their second Ghana Premier League title is confident the current players in his team can excel domestically and in the Champions League next season.

Aduana have improved their squad with the signings of several good players, including WAFA duo of Emmanuel Boateng and Caleb Amanakwa, former Wa All Stars Captain Hafiz Adams, Paul Aidoo of Medeama and Congolese import Uba Ikama.

Uba Ikama scored his first goal for the club in their 3-1 victory over Techiman Eleven Wonders on Thursday in the GHALCA G8 tournament.

And Coach Yussif Abubakar after picking six points in his two points in the two games of the off season tournament believes he has a fine squad for next season challenge.

"We are okay with the squad. Almost the signings that we have done are very good and high profile players." he said in an interview.

"Players that we can bet on that they will do. The most difficult think is to know how we are going to blend them and we still have some days to go where we believe that with that one we can come up.”

The two times Ghana Premier League Champions will face Kumasi Asante Kotoko in he final group game of the GHALCA G8 tournament.

Meanwhile, ahead of the start of next season the Dormaa based side have drawn Libyan giants Al Tahaddy in the preliminary stages of the Champions League slated for the weekend of 9-11 February.
