Veteran football administrator, Harry Zakkour has called on Kurt Okraku, the President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to see him for a discussion on developing football in the country.

Mr. Okraku became the leader of the country’s football governing body in October 2019 after winning an elective Congress organized at the Physicians and Surgeons Center in Accra.

After seven months into his tenure, he continues to receive backlash and negative criticism with some football administrators stressing that nothing has changed at the GFA since he took over.

Speaking to GTV Sports Plus, former Hearts of Oak chairman, Harry Zakkour has called on Kurt Okraku to pay him a visit for discussions on how to improve the sport in Ghana.

“I will like Kurt Okraku to come and see me one day to see what we can do about Ghana football so that if we change our strategy about Sunday matches because of this European football”, he noted.

He believes that the Ghana FA president is in the early days of his tenure and must be given the time and backing to work.
