Compilation of Kevin-Prince Boateng's Cristiano worship tweets

When Twitter reminds you that Kevin-Prince Boateng has Cristiano Ronaldo’s name written all over his heart but his new teammate is Lionel Messi…

In transfer news, Kevin Prince Boateng has completed a shock move to FC Barcelona from Sassuolo. The irony is that the Ghanaian attacking midfielder is openly a worshipper of the one and only player Barcelona fans love to hate: Cristiano Ronaldo.

Social media never forgets. While the Catalans are welcoming their new arrival and praising him for pro-Messi comments he made, anti-Barca supporters and Cristiano Ronaldo fans are rolling back the years with amusement.

But…

Adding insult to injury, KPB’s past activity on Twitter, as much as on the pitch, also displays the fun he’s had in trolling his current club. The ex-AC Milan player who counts two goals, one assist, and one win in eight appearances against Barca, didn’t hold back anything the last time CR7 stood tall in El Clasico.

Nobody enjoyed Cristiano Ronaldo’s 2017 Spanish Supercup heroics against FC Barcelona more than Kevin Prince Boateng…

Farther back in Kevin-Prince Boateng’s Twitter history, he was outraged as the 2012 UEFA Best Player of the Year award went to Barcelona icon Andres Iniesta (19 votes) whereas Cristiano Ronaldo finished tied with Lionel Messi on 17 votes.

A few months later, KPB wished good luck to CR7 who was in contention with Messi and Iniesta again for the 2012 FIFA Ballon d’Or:

In the meantime, kudos to the Blacks Stars of Ghana outcast for resurrecting his career time and time again. Whilst many players contemplate retirement at the age of 31, Prince Boateng — much like his idol Cristiano Ronaldo — has opted for a bigger challenge.
