There are growing concerns over the fitness of Kevin-Prince Boateng at Hertha Berlin following the club’s recent defeat to FC Freiburg in the German Bundesliga.

The experienced forward who joined the side this summer as a free agent was expected to provide a squad boost.

Although he still possess the quality, he is unable to play at the top level for more than 30 minutes.

Last Saturday, KP Boateng featured for Hertha Berlin when the team lost 2-1 to FC Freiburg.

Speaking in a post-match interview, his manager Pal Dardai shared in the concerns of fans.

However, he notes that the club was aware he could not be up for 90 minutes and working to get the best out of him.

“Kevin either plays a good half or 60 minutes, that's always the plan. And we knew that with him beforehand,” the coach noted.

Amid the international break, KP Boateng is expected to have enough rest while he trains to come back stronger for Hertha Berlin.
