Confederation Cup not above us - Nsoatreman FC General Manager Eric Alagidede

Nsoatreman FC General Manager Eric Alagidede is confident about his outfit chances head of the CAF Confederation Cup campaign.

The Amanaso outfit are set for their maiden Africa campaign after emerging as winners of the FA Cup last season, defeating regional rivals Bofoakwa Tano on penalties.

Nsoatreman FC will face Chadian side Elect Sport in the first preliminary round scheduled for August 2024.

The Ghana FA Cup champions will play host to Elect Sport before traveling to Chad for the return fixture.

Speaking to the Kessben FM, as followed by Footballghana.com, the enterprising football administrator emphasized the Confederation Cup is not above their standards despite being debutants.

“I don’t think the Confederation Cup is above us. There would have been doubts if one had predicted Dreams FC’s group stage spot last season but they went and it happened” he said.

Nsoatreman FC have been preparing massively for the new season as they seek to make impact.

They finished second in the recently concluded Nsenkyire Cup held in Sameraboi, where Samartex clinched the title.

The Nsoatre-based club will participate in three major competitions in the upcoming campaign, (CAF Confederation Cup, FA Cup and Ghana Premier League).
