CONFIRMED: All dropped Black Stars players leave Dubai camping base

Footballghana.com can confirm that all 5 players who were axed from the Black Stars squad on Monday, June 10, 2019, has left the team’s camping base in the United Arab Emirates, Dubai.

Head Coach James Kwesi Appiah unveiled his final 23-man squad after staying in camp with the side for a week where they played one friendly match with Namibia which they lost by a goal to nil last Sunday.

Hard working Majeed Warris missed the squad together with Spain-based Yaw Yeboah, Ebenezer Ofori of American top-flight club New York FC as well as the Home-based duo of Mohammed Alhassan and Abdul Fatawu of giants Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko respectively.

48 hours after the list came out, our sources at the Black Stars camping base in Dubai has revealed that all 5 players have left. Whiles others have gone on holidays, others have also joined their various clubs to prepare for upcoming assignments.

Meanwhile, the Black Stars continue their pre-tournament training tour in the UAE and are expected to engage South Africa in another friendly match this weekend.
