CONFIRMED: Ex-Hearts of Oak captain Vincent Atinga signs for Medeama SC

Early on Thursday morning, your most trusted online portal reported that the former Hearts of Oak defender is in Tarkwa to complete a move to the Yellow and Mauve outfit after snubbing Aduana Stars and King Faisal.

This afternoon, Vincent Atinga has put pen on paper to commit to a contract that will see him play for Medeama SC.

While an official announcement is expected from the club, footballghana.com sources have uncovered that the experienced defender inked a one and a half year contract with the Ghana Premier League giants.

Since leaving Hearts of Oak in 2017, Vincent Atinga has spent time in Albania and in Kuwait.

In Albania, he played for KF Tirana before later moving on to play for Al Qadsia and Al-Shabab in Kuwait.

Now 27-years old, the defender is expected to provide a massive squad boost for Medeama SC in the remainder of 2020/2021 Premier League season where they are pushing to win the title.
