Chief Executive Officer of Techiman Eleven Wonders, Albert Yahaya Commey has disclosed that his outfit owes their players three months’ salaries due to the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic.

Following the outbreak of the disease all football related activities in the country have been halted.

It is unclear whether the season will be nullified or not due to the growth of the disease.

With no football activities, clubs have been struggling to pay their players since their main source of income comes from the gate.

However, the CEO of the Techiman based club in an interview with Kumasi based Fox FM bemoaned the effect of convid-19 pandemic and has indicated that the club is unable to pay outstanding salaries of players.

“Our Bankroller, Nana Ameyaw is a businessman who deals in cashew. The problem now is that; his products have been stuck at the port because of COVID-19”

“I have been receiving calls from both the players and the technical team. We are still working on how to pay our staff (players and technical team)” He said.
