Accra Hearts of Oak striker Cosmos Dauda has expressed delight with his side's win over rivals Asante Kotoko.
Hearts defeated Kotoko 1-0 in a match-day 8 fixture at the Accra Stadium on Sunday.
Hearts defender Vincent Atinga's spot kick was all the phobians needed to clinch the three maximum points.
“We the players are very happy, we fought and worked very hard for this victory,” Cosmos Dauda told the media after the game.
“It didn’t come easy because the game was very tough but at the end we won the three points which is very important.
“Personally I am very happy with the result and this win will boost our confidence in our subsequent games.”
