Philippe Coutinho has dropped a huge indication that he will be staying put at Liverpool for the foreseeable future.
Coutinho enjoyed another sensational campaign for Liverpool this term and it has been no surprise to see the Brazilian playmaker being linked with a move to the likes of Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid in recent times.
Many believe that Coutinho could well be tempted with a move to Barcelona but as a huge source of relief to the Liverpool fans, the 24-year-old has insisted that he will be staying put at Anfield for the foreseeable future.
The Brazilian international said: "Stay here and they will end up building a statue in your honour.
"Go somewhere else, to Barcelona, to Bayern Munich, to Real Madrid, and you will be just another player.
"Here you can be something more. I have a long contract with Liverpool. Speculation is for journalists only."
