German-born Ghanaian international, Kevin-Prince Boateng has revealed he misses the feeling of being on the football pitch but insists he is confident the sport will return stronger when the fight against the Coronavirus is won.
Now mostly referred to as Covid-19, what has turned into a global pandemic has spread to more than 180 countries and has so far infected over 680,000 while killing at least 32,000 people.
Its impact has been enormous worldwide and has caused the suspension of all the major leagues in Europe.
With Turkey being affected, Besiktas forward KP Boateng has no option than to stay at home under self-quarantine together with his family.
In a post on Instagram, he has noted that he missed the sport.
“Missing that feeling on the pitch, the ball, my teammates and all atmosphere around. We will come back STRONGER at the right moment”, KP Boateng said as a caption on a video highlight of some of his best goals.
