Ghanaian international Jacob Akrong has appealed to supporters of his club, Zacatepec to stay at home to ensure they remain safe during this Coronavirus scare period.
The Covid-19 pandemic has forced the suspension of football in Mexico in the last 15 days with the citizenry asked to stay at home as a precautionary measure.
In a message on Twitter, Jacob Akrong has advised all supporters of Zacatepec to adhere to the given protocols to stay safe and stay out of trouble as well.
“Hello friends, I am Jacob Akrong soccer player from Zacatepec, I want to recommend that you bastards stay at home, you know that it is always with you. If they find someone outside, I'm going to grab them on the street”, the 27-year-old defender said.
Meanwhile, Jacob Akrong and his Zacatepec teammates remain under quarantine as they await the Coronavirus storm to pass for football activities in Mexico to resume.
