Crystal Palace boss Sam Allardyce has warned Wilfried Zaha he must prove himself worthy of any bumper new contract.
Zaha is in talks over a new deal that could bring him in line with the best-paid players at Selhurst Park on around £100,000 a week.
“Every player that gets more money I demand more of," said the Palace manager.
“When he gets the bigger contract there is a bigger responsibility and I will expect a lot more than I am getting, which is saying something because I am getting an awful lot."
