Crystal Palace striker Jordan Ayew has been overlooked in the Ghana's squad for their AFCON qualifier with Sierra Leone this month.
Ayew despite his fine form did not get a place in coach Appiah's 23-man squad for the game.
There is no place in the squad for his elder brother Andre Aayew who has also been on fine form for his club side Fernabache.
The Ayew brothers last played for Ghana in November 2017.
