Ghanaian forward Ernest Asante expressed his happiness after Omonia Nicosia clinched a huge derby win over APOEL in the Cyprus top flight.

The 32-year-old was involved in the huge 3-0 victory on the day. It is the first victory of Omonia over APOEL in 7.5 years.
On his Instagram status, he posted: "We do the unthinkable" in English and "wonderful night" in Greek.

Asante joined Omonio during the 2020 summer transfer window. He has scored one goal in 10 appearances so far.
