Ghanaian midfielder, Kingsley Sarfo, netted one goal for Olympiakos Nicosia but it was not enough as his side suffered a 2-1 defeat to Anorthosis in the Cyprus cup final.
The two teams created some opportunities in the first half but unfortunately, none of the two sides were able to break the deadlock.
Kostakis Artymatas opened the scoring for Anorthosis with his strike coming in the 59th minuted. Two minutes later, Kingsley Sarfo made a huge impact in the game, scoring the equalizer.
The match eventually ended 1-1 and both teams had to settle it in extra time. Anorthosis came out on top with Charles Eloundou scoring the go ahead goal in the 110th minute.
The win was Anorthosis 11th in the final in their history. Sarfo has played 22 matches in the league and championship round combined, scoring one goal and giving one assist. He is yet to feature for the Black Stars.
