In an interview with Accra FM, the center-back was quizzed to choose the win against the Porcupine Warriors or the victory against Esperance de Tunis in the CAF Champions League in 2000.

Comparing the dynamics, Dan Quaye stressed that his preference is the CAF Confederations Cup win against Asante Kotoko.

“That match was a very big match. Am sure it was watched all over the world. Though we lifted the Champions League in 2000, I cherish this [the Confederations Cup] more than the Champions League because it was a local derby and an international match as well and the expectations were also high”, the retired defender shared.

In the 2004 CAF Confederations Cup, Hearts and Kotoko drew 2-2 over 2 legs before the Accra-based side won 8-7 on penalties.
